Dr. Richard Tabors
Chairman
Dr. Richard Tabors is an economist and scientist with 40 years of domestic and international experience in energy planning and pricing, international development, and water and wastewater systems planning. He provides expert consulting and testimony on the design, structuring, and regulation of power markets. He served as co-director of the MIT Energy Initiative’s “Utility of the Future” project. Richard has provided expert assistance and testimony in numerous energy sector regulatory and arbitration cases at the federal, State and provincial levels throughout the United States and Canada. He has also provided technical assistance on electricity markets and market development to policy makers, utilities, merchant power developers, and transmission companies in North America, Europe, Latin America, Australia, and the Middle East. Richard was a member of the MIT team that developed the theory of spot pricing upon which real-time pricing and locational marginal pricing (LMP) of electricity and transmission services are based. Richard holds degrees from Dartmouth College and Syracuse University.
Cary Bullock

Cary is a results-oriented C-level executive with a consistent track record in achieving growth and shareholder value for numerous companies in energy products and services, technology, and specialty manufacturing. His proven ability to assemble teams and develop winning strategies has resulted in the successful launch, growth and technology advancements at of some of the most innovative companies in energy and cleantech, including XENERGY, Econoler USA, KENENTECH, 50 Church Street, Excelergy, Greenfuel Technologies and ThermoEnergy.
Just a few of the many honors and awards achieved under Cary’s leadership, include HART ENERGY MARKETS – “Top 100 Most Influential Industry Leaders – Gas and Electric Industry in the 20th Century,” PLATTS ENERGY GLOBAL AWARD – “Emissions Energy Project of the Year,” FROST AND SULLIVAN AWARD – “Technology Innovation of the Year,” and the IHS CERAWEEK “Energy Innovation Pioneer.”
Cary currently serves as Advisor for Hitchpin.com and Renew Energy Partners. In addition, he serves on the Board of Boyd Biomedical. Cary holds degrees from Amherst College and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Martin Goldenblatt
VP of Sales & Marketing
Martin is an experienced entrepreneur who brings a forty-year track record in applying his unique combination of technical, sales and managerial skills to successfully bring to market new energy related services, enterprise solutions, and cloud-based applications. Martin was one of the founders of LODESTAR, a company that helped facilitate the implementation of deregulation in energy markets. He has been a thought leader in developing strategies for identifying the economic, operational, and environmental impact of distributed energy resources. Martin holds degrees from the City College of New York and Northeastern University.
McKenzie Fowler
Director of Energy Modeling
McKenzie Fowler is an energy market specialist with expertise in electricity market modeling and analysis, energy transition strategy, resource planning, market and asset related due diligence, and price forecasting. At PowerIntel, McKenzie manages the development and maintenance of our long-term electricity market models to support power market stakeholders with premium intelligence and decision support.
Prior to joining PowerIntel, McKenzie worked for a consulting firm managing client projects related to energy market strategy, transaction diligence, energy procurement and resource planning. She has experience in advisory services, providing clients with education and analysis on opportunities to participate in U.S. energy markets. McKenzie has worked with corporate and industrial clients to identify energy projects to meet ESG goals and assess power purchase agreement economics and market risk. She has also worked for a major electric and natural gas utility in the U.S. Northeast on long-term corporate strategy.
McKenzie received a MASc degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Victoria, and her BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell. McKenzie is a 2022 Clean Energy Leadership Institute Fellow and 2023 President of the Boston chapter of Young Professionals in Energy.

David is a hands-on strategist with diverse high-tech experience spanning product management, strategic marketing, and strategy consulting. David has served in leadership roles for multiple startups in product, marketing, and customer success. He is a highly experienced professional in new product development and market entry for enterprise SaaS. David has spent over 14 years as a strategy consultant at Cartesian, where he focuses on high tech & telecom. ln addition, he formed Opensignal’s product management function, and led the commercialization of new data analytics products. David holds degrees from Williams College and the University of California at San Diego.
